CHEARS has been awarded the 2011 Jim Cassels Community Service Award to help make the Center Garden more accessible for people of all ages through intergenerational workshops! The funding is supporting the Three Sisters Demonstration Gardens in purchasing raised gardening boxes, tables and benches, ergonomic tools, and more to provide friendly, accessible outdoor gardening spaces and intergenerational workshops in Greenbelt.
